THIS I want to see. I suppose as a back-up one could carry a bicycle pump.

Wow!

Up to 200km range now.

Over 5,000PSI of pressurized air tank scares me though. Keep getting visions of scuba tanks or other industrial gas tanks, with snapped off valves. A few thousand pounds of instant rocket thrust in an accident.

Still looks like too many mechanically moving parts. Permanent magnet electric wheel motors in all 4 wheels with no other moving parts has to be more efficient.

Yes,

But if I had the choice between being involved in an accident with vehicle driven by compressed air and one driven by petrol - or compressed natural gas - or batteries - or even diesel, I think I'd go for the air. You never know, if you're lucky, when the valve pops off the rush of supercooled air may extinguish any fires.

Swings and roundabouts I guess.
