Does anyone know what type of signal the Aurora 6000 wind Inverter is looking for to operate the remote ON/OFF function. The terminals that I think operate this function (R+ & R-) show 5 volts DC when the inverter is operating.
Thanks

Hi Tom,
Word is that shorting the two contacts (+R and -R) will switch the unit off. Release it and it'll power up again if there's sufficient DC on the inverter input. In addition, you also have to enable this in the software, through the "settings" menu (look for an entry called "remote control"). I've not tried this myself, so please let us know what you find out when trying.

Hi Rob
Shorting the terminals makes it work as you described. No smoke invloved!
I'm rying to use this second Inverter on the higher end of my turbine output so the Isolation transformer can be shut down until the 2nd inverter is needed. Forcing the inverter to shut down before the isolation transformer should avoid "Missing Grid" alarms and 300 Second delays. My system happens to have have a couple of extra RPM based relays with hysteresis and On/Off delay times to control this stuff. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for all the diagrams and info on your site. It became a great resource for my project.
Thanks
