View Full Version : Pushed the Mann Smart Drive to a new Hi 1150Watts

Hello some of you my follow me on my redevement of the Smart Drive here in the USA.
Using a stock 60s stator rewired to Delta and my Neomagent set up with just 10 inch LB of cogging. I got back into the grid on my first test at 600 RPM 1150 into the Grid.

This was the test with out the ploting done I feel I have about 25% more to pull out of the motor with the Grid Tie set up for my motor.

Nice alternator!
I assume you're planning to hook this up to a wind turbine? Do you have a turbine for it, or can you tell us about the plans?

I make a VAWT using a modifed Lenx blade now and will test a HAWT using a Rapter blade set.
I could use your in input on ploting my GinLong grid tie and what would be the best whey to bench test my Mann Smart Drive for you to come up with those numbers. I am useing there 2 Kwatt unit.
Here is my VAWT it is 4 ft high 3 ft round.
