At the risk of entering into politics, Australia has entered into an era of "carbon taxery" to try and encourage reduction of greenhouse emissions and resource consumption. I entered into a debate on a forum where a journalist had published an article listing 30 suggested ways of reducing consumption and I was quite disgusted by the mindless way in which contributors tried to turn it into a debate on the politics of the tax itself, rather than making further useful suggestions.

Such was my anger I thought rather than write reams and reams which would probably only inflame the nitwittery further, I'll just make a very brief video SHOWING what just one person can do.

The Very Green House - YouTube

There's no commentary, just a list of things in order as they appear on the video.

Hope you find it interesting.

Hi Joe,

thanks to share your knowledge! It seems very interesting.

I don't want to go deeper in a political debate or open one, but
also what the Australian government is doing is seems a really good think!
Do you have the article that you read?
