Are Earth House sustainable?

I wanted to open a new topic about Earth Houses.

Do you think that they are sustainable as it should be?

And do you think it is possible that the structure will have some problem after years?

In Afghanistan we have been knocking over mud huts that have been there for hundreds of years. It's not even easy to demolish them on purpose.

If I ever get some land out in the mountains I am going to build an Earth berm house. Always wanted to do one.
