Hi any(every)one!
A question for someone in the know.
I have two Outback FX series inverters hooked to a 4 port hub and controlled by an Outback MATE. Having just got my system rolling I'm having trouble getting the MATE to act on the settings I've programmed for HBX mode. For starters I've stuck with the suggested defaults of 48 low and 52 high but tweaked the time down to .1 hours (six minutes) just to see if the darn thing would respond. I also made sure the charger was set to OFF as I'd like my windmill and solar to do the recharge on my batteries.
So far no dice and the only oddity I noticed was that the last screen of the HBX setup doesn't keep the DROP-HBX tag up when I go back to look at it (all the other changes I've made stay in place but that seems to go away and only reads DROP or USE without the little -HBX to tell me it's in that mode).
Any experts about? Advice?
Thanks in advance.
