I have 3 phase 400w 12 volt wind turbine, and yes, it's from china, but still I had expected a bit more of it. I have had winds between 6-12 m/s (13-24 miles per hour) and never been over 1,4 amps.
I know it wild ac but can someone tell me if 10,7 volt ac is normal at 6 m/s. (at this wind speed it's charge about 0,1-0,2 amps)
I try to find out if there's anything wrong with the turbine or if it's the controller

Terje, you'd have to ask the manufacturer what's 'normal' for their product and what isn't. Though, I doubt you get much of an answer...
Since it doesn't work from what you're saying I wouldn't call it normal. But then again, it was probably a copy of a copy of a back-of-the-envelope design with no real testing or any expectation that it would do something useful. Many Chinese wind turbines are only good at making the seller a bit of money, anything else would be considered a bonus.

Well,,they don't answer me at all. So not much help from them. Maybe it's like you say, they only cheap copy and do not test them.
Maybe someone has a similar turbine and can measure the ac volt at a given windspeed?

Would you have a brand name or a photo?
Thanks.
