I have helped companies with fleets re-think the way they power their vehicles (including many FedEx vehicles).
My company takes a vehicle(s) and installs a kit that works with fuel injected gasoline engines, allows you to retain the use of your vehicles gasoline tank and system and saves over $1.00/gallon (currently with $2.20 pump prices). The system gives your engine 2X the engine life, keeps 95%+ fuel efficiency, uses half as many oil changes, 5% more horse power and an energy that is not a green house gas (like natural gas is), the systems are safer than gasoline systems, automatically switch back over to gasoline in the event that the alternative fuel supply runs out....and gives you access to State and Federal rebates that can be anywhere from $.37/gallon-$.87/gallon.
We install the systems, provide fueling stations for the fleet at no charge (if certain criteria are met), provide training and more.
We use DOT and EPA certified systems and they can be put on almost any gas powered vehicle. Your manufacturers warranty on your vehicle is also not effected.
I would love to answers any questions anyone might have....I firmly believe this is the best alternative energy available and by far the cleanest. Some would argue electric vehicles are the best....but because over 70% of electricity is still produced by coal....an electric car indirectly is harming our environment. Some argue that natural gas is the best way to go, but keep in mind that natural gas actually harms the ozone (and is a greenhouse gas) the distance one can travel with a tank of natural gas is roughly 20% of that of this fuel and the compression of natural gas is 10X that of this fuel which makes it a little scary to have mounted to your car and it is also actually corrosive to engine parts.
This fuel is of course propane.....you get the best of everything with propane. Great fuel range, inexpensive fuel, fuel tanks that are by far safer than gasoline tanks, better horse power, quieter running engines that last longer and use 1/2 has many oil changes. The benefits go on and on. Contact me or my website for more info. I would love to discuss here or in private with anyone interested.
Thanks
Aaron
