Hi Guys,

I'm currently working with a Controlled Rectifier with a 4700uF Capacitor connected to the output so the output of the rectifier is smooth. This voltage output is then connected to the Aurora PVI 3.6 OUTD US W, but when the inverter tries to connect to the grid the Low Riso Alarm flashes. The curious thing is that if I remove the capacitor, the device connects to the grid without a problem. Does anyone know a troubleshooting guide, known issues when using capacitor or a workaround this problem?

Hi Marco,

I am not very familiar with this type of circuitry, but I wonder if it has something to do with reactive power (cos phi).
If you are connected to the actual grid, and if your own load does not consume the reactive power generated by your windmill, then the grid may reject your connection.

... just an idea ...

Bon vent !
