An interesting case reported in the media today. A woman in Adelaide, South Australia had a win in court to prevent a building developer overshadowing her solar panels.

In the present crisis of power supply in that state (as well as much of the eastern states), I would have thought that would be a "no-brainer" attempting to deny access to sunlight.

But ...

That should be interesting. There are already states that it's illegal to catch the rain water so I would say as an person with an average or below average income, no you don't have the right to sunshine. That is not my personal opinion but in todays world money talks. If that person is loaded, they will win, if not, it will be much harder but can still win with the right support.
