Wind turbine tower art

I've read an article about art wind turbine tower. Some wind tower (http://www.steelwindtower.com) has been painted and I think it's very interesting to see the unique wind towers.
Really appreciate the creativity, even the wind towers can be unique and artistic. Hope that more and more artists come up with more creative ideas to decorate the wind towers, and attract more people to pay attention about wind energy, clean energy. http://www.steelwindtower.com/wind-turbine-tower-art/

Some of the painted turbines are not too far from where my parents live in the Netherlands. I've seen them. It's a great idea (I think)!

Several years ago, our federal treasurer, Joe Hockey, declared that he thought wind towers were "utterly offensive" and a blight on the landscape.

However, he never made mention of how the hundreds (if not thousands) of high voltage transmission towers around the country affected the outlook. Of course, we know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I see nothing beautiful in this! (Result of last year's storm which rendered South Australia almost totally without power.)

In a case of karma (after the storm) coming round again he was dumped on his can in the next election.
