My question is exactly the same as this post from 10 years ago.
https://www.greenpowertalk.org/showthread.php?t=354&highlight=islanding
I want to connect an induction (asynchronous) generator directly to the grid. I understand I need to account for islanding in the event of grid shut down. The old thread offered no solutions. I am hoping there is some type of anti-islanding device for ac-ac generators. And if so, could someone please point me in that direction.
I have found some information on a similar wind generator - Clarian Technologies Jellyfish (aka smartbox), but apparently it never made it to market or was pulled off.
