Hello Alice,

A few days ago, I had some issue with the smart meter installed at my home by British Gas. I have made a call to British gas support team for the help. Next day British Gas engineer came to my home. Within 20 minutes he resolved the issue. I have called to this number which is listed here (https://www.britishgas.co.uk/help-and-support/my-account/gas-and-electricity/faq/call-us) and I got the instant help.
