Hello Everyone, This is Habib Bahari
Please check out this game changing technology partnered with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. [Admin: self-serving link removed]

Please spread the word.

[Admin: Please do not use the forum for self-promotion! I'll let the NASA link stand, as it's generic enough, the link to your funding campaign has been removed though]

Habib, I looked at your wind tower and I'm trying to figure out how this is going to work. I get that the idea is to funnel air from the horizontal into the vertical, and conceivably you have a turbine mounted in the vertical shaft. However, to get decent air flow you would need a decent pressure differential between the top of that tower and the bottom where you release the air. Where is that pressure difference coming from? If anything, air could be flowing the other way (bottom to top) due to the venturi effect.

However way you slice it, the other issue I can see is that this introduces a high flow resistance, which would leave you with very little power in the air to work with.

Did you build a test rig to find out if this actually works? If so, what did you find?
