Proposing usefulness of generating underground wind tunnels with the Carnot cycle in order to harness wind energy. Windmills do not need to be above ground, and perhaps ought not be.
What are your thoughts?

Drag causes problems for that idea. Aboveground windmills will always find more usable windspeed since they are far away from the stuff that causes drag (the ground.)
