Good morning,
I am brand new to the solar world, I am a plumber not an electrician but I am enjoying my initial foray into this world.
I have an opportunity to purchase a solar generator. it consists of a pure sine wave inverter, charge controller and a 230 amp hour battery. I do not have an owners manual for this device and I am having some trouble getting it up and running. It is connected to a 100 watt 12 volt Renogy solar panel. The device is a VSP power generator. the model is the VSP 3500. I can find some stuff online about VSP but absolutely nothing about this unit. It runs, it is charging the battery but at certain points in time it shuts off, it doesn't seem to be for any reason. It turns on, runs for a minute and then shuts down. Near as i can tell this is not a hibernation mode as the only way to get electricity from it is to start it up again. any help would be appreciated.
