Hi, I am new to the forum :) and I would like to know you opinion on emission factors data to calculate CO2 equivalent for my company.
I have been using the emission factors from the IEA CO2 emissions from fuel combustion and electricity 1999-2015 to calculate the emissions for the years 2000-2018. And my question is: is the data used from IEA to calculate emissions for recent years valid or can I only calculate the emissions using updated data? (which is also expensive to buy) i.e 2015 upwards?
If not do I have to recalculate previous data?
I know IEA data will always be lagging but in my case does it mean its wrong?
This is something I want to have right since its very important data for years to come.
