Good day, thank you for the super site!
I have been a lurker for a while and finally got something that I need to ask.
I have an ABB Aurora inverter 3.6 running on a "home-build" water turbine.

I have loaded the wind curve and the unit can produce up to 2.4kW.
The unit will run stable at 1.4kw but if I ramp it up to 2.1kw it will run for about 10 min or so and then it will stop generating power resulting in the turbine to "run away".
At first, I thought it was the house load and/or the battery that got fully charged and therefore there was not enough load to sustain the production but after some tests, with the batteries well discharged to ensure a constant load, I still get the same result.
I am not sure if the wind table could have an impact or is there something else that I can have a look at to determine why the unit will stop producing power on the higher end.

Best regards

It's saying "Don't be greedy!"

Is this a constant production? If so, that's a lot of power to store or dump. Wish that was my problem.

Jan, does the inverter go offline? So it stops producing altogether and you get into the 5-minute wait after it reconnects? That could have to do with the grid conditions. I understand you have this set up AC-coupled in some way to feed an off-grid system?
