I have an air gap question and please, somebody please try to help me. I’m working on a generator and I have limited torque (I know what you’re already thinking, but please hear me our). If I widen the air gap, it lessens the Lenz effect and the generator will run (and produces the voltage that I need). I know that this makes the generator less efficient, but what else will this do? Will the generator still charge batteries, just less efficiently? I don’t have a background in electronics and I’m trying to learn how all of this works. If someone could just take the time to help me on this, what I’m working on could really change our world for the better. OR does someone have a coil design that’s low Lenz that would like to work with me on this?
