Hi Brian, welcome at GPT!
I'm up in Canada, which for once is warm and sunny (rare, especially for this time of year).
I'd imagine there are lots of solar panels in Jamaica, with all the sun you have over there!

Hi Brian. I'm new too. I'm what you call an experimenter. No education, just curiosity. I'm more of a Thomas Edison than an Albert Einstein.
I watch for progress on solar cells, but my northeastern wooded lot doesn't lend itself to panels. I have three solar lamps on my house positioned as best I can for the sun and only one ever shines bright even after a sunny day. But I do find the tech fascinating.
My limited time here has still provided me with the opinion that the folks here are intelligent and helpful.
