Stew, what was the name of that iron/sulfur filter that you mentioned yesterday? We have a fair amount of iron in our well water, and a little bit of sulfur (which seems to react with the electrode of the water heater to make the hot water smell of sulfur at times). It's not enough to make the water undrinkable, we drink it and use it, but it would be nice to clean it up.
Thanks!

Rob,
Took a while for me to find the right link
The company whose unit I have is Lancaster Pumps.
http://www.lancasterpump.com/restreatment.php
They have many models of water treatment, but this unit is identical to mine in performance:
http://www.lancasterpump.com/pdf/aquanuefilters2.pdf
original cost in USD$ was about $850 15 years ago ...haven't touched it since
it removes sulfur odor as well as precipitating out iron ( and other minerals??)
There are other manufacturers but I had a hard time googling them
There are at least two dealers who carried them locally here ..let me know how your avaialbility search goes and if you get stuck, I can make a few local calls.
For some reason I thought I saw Sears or Agway carrying a similar model at one time?
