Interesting - almost TOO interesting!!

I Googled everything I could think of and traced it back to a couple of different sources, but it seems to be above board.

And yet the whole article makes my nose itch, to coin a phrase. I can't put my finger on it (the itch, not the nose), but I'm a wee bit suspicious.

I'd like to see the original page in paper. (Does anybody have a December 1900 issue of the Journal lying around in their attic?)

I'm not saying it's a hoax, but if it's a hoax, it's a GOOD one. Very clever indeed.
