While housecleaning last week I came across some items I'll likely not ever use. Both items were originally part of my Lakota wind turbine. Shortly After I purchased it they came out with upgraded controls and would not allow any trade in value on the originals.
The first item is the diversion load with vented cabinet. Info on the 2 resistors:
HE10510
ASE 1000w
1 ohm
The vented enclosure is Hammond part# 1416Q and measures 10”x20”x8”deep

The second item is the rectifier. Converts 24VAC to DC. Measures 9”x16”x3”deep
I'd take $200 for the pair and will consider selling separate. Will also have a Trimetric 2020 battery monitor available in the near future. Just waiting for the new Outback Flexnet DC monitor to become available. Would take $100.00 for the Trimetric (without the shunt)

Hi Ric,

I'll take the Trimetric 2020 for $100. I've already got a 100A / 100mV shunt. I assume this shunt will work fine with the Trimetric?

Let me know when ready to pick up.

Thanks.
Mark

Hi Mark,
Consider it yours and yes it will work with either a 100A/100mV or 500A/50mV shunt. Manuals are available online at: http://www.bogartengineering.com/trimetric.htm
As soon as I can get my hands on the Flexnet DC I'll pack it up....hell I might even deliver!!!!

Hi Ric,

Happy New Year!

Just wondering about the Trimetric. You get your Flexnet DC in yet?

I have a ghost load problem at the cottage. When up last my low voltage disconnect was tripped. The Trimetric would help to determine the extent. Winter solistice and with all the snow and cloudy days this winter has significantly reduced solar power harvesting for me.

Let me know.

Thanks.
Mark

Hey Mark,
Happy New year to you too. Having problems finding a Canadian source for the Flexnet. May have to go to the states. I'm anxious to get one though. Right now I'm battling more turbine problems. The picture below was my Christmas present....ouch!!! At first I thought the casting had snapped although it wasn't excessively windy the night it broke (likely around 30mph). After I got it down I found that the pin that the head pivots/furls on actually fell out. Hard to believe the casting never broke when the pin came out of the first flange. Anyway me and wind don't seem to be doing well. Maybe I should have went all solar. But then again theres alot of windy, overcast days in the winter (and once again I'm missing most of them!!!!)

Hi Dan,
Thats odd. I wondered why I hadn't heard from you so I just assumed you weren't interested. I'll email you my address and other details. Try replying to it and I'll let you know if I receive it. If not I guess we'll keep communicating thru this forum
