I'll believe it when I've filled my tank with it for the second time.

Hi Joe : Thanks for the update: This Fuel thing is something I wanted to comment on for awhile .I'm Hearing rumours in the industry that this addition / production of Ethanol and mixing it with Gas is not near as profitable as expected and now costing the consumer Even more at the pump due to LESS mileage. I don't have all the details and particulars ,you'll have to search the Net for more info. One example is this Toyota Prius owner whos' mileage varied from the 56 miles per gallon.(3.79 liters) down to 51 MPG. His cars on screen computer had datalogged this on multiple occassions. Based on where he puchased his fuel ( he found a station in his area that whas selling gas with no ethanol.. Anyway the volume to volume displacement the ethanol only has 70% as much power as the gasoline it displaces.

The only thing I care about is whether or not you can scale the production of the fuel so that it's more than just a science experiment.

About my opinion Alcohol or bio-diesel can be good replacement of petroleum.

Hi, I had a pretty general idea about it, which is a common one that has already been tested in the past with the bio-diesel's but anyway.
I wanted somebody to test my recipe for olive oil soap in a remote control car and see if the car would run on it.
I got the idea from watching fight club the movie, watching things on the news about fuel replacements, and living on an olive farm for 15 years.
So this is my recipe for what "could" be some type of really cool fuel.
Mix 1 liter of olive oil with 200 grams of caustic soda, add 150mL's of Acetone, and as little water as possible to activate the reaction of the caustic soda, you may need to add more water to react it entirely.
Then you want to separate the liquids and solids, obviously the liquid being the fuel.
When I make the soap, which is supposed to be some sort of gift for my older brother as an acne treatment I boil the whole lot on a gas stove, its a flammable its dangerous. When it gets hot on the stove it bubbles, but with acetone after bubbling the next thing that happens is it ignites. It takes me about 4 days to set the soap and harden it into bars.
I wanted to know if somebody could try and perfect the mixture I've invented or try another inexpensive flammable with it. Or if my product would be better for engine oil or an engine treatment rather than fuel.
Or basically if the general idea gives any benefits to motors running less pollution. I.E. if the motor would run on it better than a car just running on the fats and caustic.
