Hi folks, How many of you are living off-grid or would like to learn how ?

I am I am a long time off-grid solar homesteader. I live in a 14x14 solar cabin I designed and built for under $2000. I use a solar composting toilet I designed that works 2/3rds faster than typical composting toilets. I use a solar oven, water heater and food dehydrator.

I drilled my own water well and harvest rainwater. I grow a large organic garden ad raise chickens and rabbits for food. I have no house payments or utility bills and life is very good!

That's very impressive. Don't think that I would want to live in a 196 square foot house, though.

Thanks but no thanks - I worked all around the world for long years and longer hours to be able to retire in some comfort.

I appreciate my garage which is larger than that - I don't get wet getting into and out of the car when there is a storm.
