But I am back , finally got high speed which makes using the web fun again.
But I am ready to get back into learning more about wind and solar power.
I want to start out with a small wind generator that I can afford.
I have 40 foot TV tower, what is the largest wind generator that would be safe to put on the tower? I know I need to get a picture of the tower so you know which one I have.
But has anyone ever done a small project like this?
If anyone can't help, I would be grateful. thanks

I just put this one up in my side yard on a 20' pole. It cost me $355.00 on ebay. I could not build one from scratch for less. It works but needs to be up higher. Next step is probably a 40' telephone pole.
