So much for clean ,laminar airflow ,it looks like the lower blade will get the most of it.
at this LINK (http://cleantechnica.com/2009/04/29/wind-turbine-output-boosted-30-by-breakthrough-design/) Nice idea but I have to wonder what the real data shows. Paul

Hey Paul
I think you'd have to duck while cutting your lawn to avoid the blades of the turbine! It's kind of low.

They got it all wrong: What it needs is a giant funnel in front of the turbine!

One of the million or so ideas floating around the net that will drift away.
I liked the comments on Cleantechnica about it - such as wonderful!
They have a bunch of groupies that always go oh! how great! for every airhead idea they post.
If anything it seems it would have a tendency to cause bearing problems for the rotor due to the odd loading whcih it is not designed for.

He Russ, are you related to Paul (Bailey)?
If you are, but want to deny all relations I can understand, so feel free to lie...

Hi Rob - No relation that I know of however outside of my brother I have never known much family.
Paul is most probably no good though - being a Bailey and all that! (Hope he realizes I am joking!)

Ugh,
They used the phrase "renaissance man".
I stopped reading there.
