My friend is working in a power plant and he is asking what to do with waste energy (stack @ 300°C ±). I am just imagine what he is saying and gave him my idea.
1. Convert the gas stack into steam to power let say admin office cutting the bill from National Power and where applicable sell it with the nearby community.
2. Big Sauna bath pool as attractive promotional for the theme park, nature touch with green house for the customers to buy vegetables or some fruits etc.

Anyway if you have any pls post, i am not good in this but i am very interested talking green. I will add details later on in this thread. Thanks Rob.

Is it a gas turbine combined cycle plant where they make steam? Is this downstream of a boiler?

What is the sulfur content of the gas stream? Any sulfur will cause acid corrosion below something like 175 C and people stay well above that point for safety.

300 deg C is getting rather low for traditional heat recovery - the heat transfer areas required start to become very large and expensive.
